SUP welcomes new directors – and our members who would like to direct

We are now looking for play ideas and directors for 2021-22

Interested? Email Kerrie, SUP Secretary via hello@suptheatre.co.uk to express your interest – we’re happy to chat on the phone – or you can provide a more detailed submission right now: please complete and return the form on the Directors page of our website.

If you want to go ahead, you will need to complete this form at some point, so the SUP Committee can discuss the options and make a decision.

If you have an idea for a play for April 2021 please let us know as soon as possible.
If you are interested in direction, this production generally requires a director with significant previous experience and a strong track record – who has ideally directed at a venue similar in size and complexity to the Nuffield Theatre or main house at RAODS’ Plaza Theatre.

October 2020 – we have booked Hanger Farm Arts Centre for three nights, 22-24 October 2020

One-act plays (30-55 minutes). If you’re a new or inexperienced director and would like to direct for Totton in 2021, we can offer a mentor: an experienced director available to provide advice and support. These plays may also be performed outside the festival.
